Friends I was so plused at the Korn concert yesterday because the venue almost didn't let me in because I was wearing my Tripp pants with chains (pic of pants for reference)

There was a sign nearby that said what couldn't be brought in. Chains were not on it. I looked on the venue's website. No mention of chains.

They're attached to the pants. You can't remove them without cutting them or prying them off. Even when I removed the strap (which is designed to be removable anyway) she refused.

I was devastated, and we immediately started brainstorming on what to do. Then we decided to just try a different security line. They let us through without any issues. Just a comment on "oh those chains don't come off, do they?" And me demonstrating that no, they do not. Then they just shrugged and let me through.

Like, I spent $700 on those tickets. If I wouldn't have been able to get in I would've rioted.

Normalize venues being VERY CLEAR about what they do and do not allow. Because they almost ruined my night.
