Every year for like the past 5 years I've said I'm going to do big dinner for Persian New Year (No Ruz), and every year I fail to do anything.

This year will be different.

I just texted my friends to save the date. I put it in my calendar and everything. It's on and poppin.

No Ruz Pirooz.  Home-made Iranian style baqlava (baklava) made with almonds, pistachios, cardamom and rose water -- served with tea, of course.  Happy New Year, and may it be a good one.
