Fucked Up

Verizon is out in major cities across the US, including Los Angeles (my city), NYC, Chicago, Boston, Miami, etc. I don't know if it's a cyber attack but I can't do ANYthing or reach ANYone.

I am NOT a conspiracy theorist ever. I LOATHE them in fact. I believe in facts and gathering and disseminating information that is correct. But it says a lot about the state of things here in Los Angeles that my very first thought was: I wonder if DHS is taking down all the networks so protesters/activists/community organizers can't communicate and ICE can fuck with people even harder here.

I don't know the cause. They say it will be up around 5pm PT but who knows. If you can't reach your friends/work/family, this might be why.

Days and places with absolutely no mobile service are fine days and pretty places. Being mobile with no service is very necessary.
