tbh when people write stuff like “this is more important than fandoms/ships/etc” “not everything is anime” “if you don’t reblog this I’m judging you” in their political/social justice posts I want to flat-out ignore it and the blogger
obviously it’s more important but putting that in your post makes it seem like you’re doing it to guilt-trip fandom bloggers into reblogging your post instead of actually calling attention to the issue at hand
and also calling out people who aren’t blogging about the issue at all, what gives you the almighty right to do that? consider that they not be aware of the problem at all. consider that they come to tumblr for an escape. consider that they are doing everything they can do to help outside of their internet life. consider that they just don’t want political/social justice posts on their blog at all. you’re not in the place to scrutinize them for their personal lifestyles. they don’t owe you anything. mind your own business.
