The greatness 🐘
little canvas by Art de Noé
I was a big fan of Noblese (the South Korean manwha) while it was being released. So I was super excited to see an anime started streaming of it on crunchy roll.
The animation and characters look pretty good, but I’m super bummed that it takes place in Japan now and everyone has Japanese names instead of their Korean ones. It feels like I’m bad taste honestly. Like they totally Warsaw the Korean culture represented in the manwha. Just super disappointing given Japan’s history of mistreatment with Korea.
Has this happened with other animated manwhas?
Noblesse Etymology
21- Number representing maturity and responsibility for an individual. It expresses also the notion of ‘chief’
I know, I may be looking for things that aren’t there. Haha. For all we know, he was named just because “21” sounds nice.
I love this character so much!! tehehe~<3 I hate him at first and then I realize that I started to like him cause he's a yandere lol!! yandere's are are extremely sweet, caring and gentle to those they love very much. However, they are usually mentally unstable, causing them to show their affection often through violence.
