I have always been in awe of creative people, and I admire visual artists in particular. When someone can pull out real-life human details, like a crooked smile, or a crinkled eye, or a furrowed brow, and recreate them in such a way that makes you feel happy inside, then you know you have brushed up against someone truly special... it feels like magic. That's how I feel about Noel Ibay. I have never in my life seen anyone do the kinds of things that he does with his artwork, he finds those small details and when you look at his renderings you can instantly see just how talented and special he is. He has brought so much joy to me (and Tom) and I am forever grateful to have been lucky enough to be one of his subjects.
