Petite Noire is making it in the States. After being featured on Solange's Saint Heron compilation, he is creating some fuzz in the USA. But even here in Belgium people do appreciate the sound of this mash up South African guy, with an Angolan mother and Congolese father. “Noirse,” a simultaneously mellow and upbeat track, is the perfect introduction to his music.

Born in Brussels, with a Congolese mother and a life in Cape Town. You can see many different influences in his songs. 

Rolling Stone Magazine defined him as "Post-Punk/new wave with a hint of African".
