there's been shots fired, home invasions, groups of people walking around with machetes or hammers. it sounds fucked up but i'm listening to the police scanners and it's not like..... out of control i don't think.

there was this dude in high school named robert! we were actually super close for a year or two. hes gay and his lived with his dad, and when he came out to his dad, he got kicked out. so my best friend (at the time) and i, decided to help him run away ? to a safe friend's place in ohio. so we planned it all out and one morning at 4 am we went to his house to pick him up, he snuck out with a bag of his stuff, and we took off for ohio. throughout the rest of the summer we went to go visit him at his new home! he was very happy there.

that's a really tough call. i had a miserable living situation that made me suicidal but i was in a city where i was incredibly independent and i had good friends near me. now i'm back at home and i am much happier with my living situation, but it's tough because i'm not independent here at all and i have very very few friends here.
