Am I taken seriously?
Honest question, do you think I'm making people take me less seriously by dressing in whatever I want, ignoring society's idea of gendered clothing? I mean even if I'm fully out as a trans guy I mostly wear skirts and such because that's what I feel comfortable in wearing. Sure I can go all out with pants bought in the men's department and a dress shirt along with my binder. But not every day. Usually I have a top of some kind I like, without my binder, boxers, a comfy skirt and over knee socks, and I still feel manly. I get that strangers misgender me, it's kinda obvious they will. But will people who know about my gender identity take me as a joke? Not take me serious? So far I haven't seen anything that seems like they are because I have good people around me, but I dunno... I worry a lot.
