In the recent few weeks, i’ve been getting a lot of asks referring how to boost their blogs, to get involved and gain more followers. so i decided to make this post.
when I first started my blog back in june of 2016, I was a simple multifandom blog that originally was a dc blog but then as I got more followers, i decided to change my theme and everything and now months later here I am with almost 1.5k followers and I’m eternally grateful. Here are some tips, tricks, and other stuff that I’ve learned while being on the site.

Get involved - Joining and applying to different networks that suit your interests can be a huge help. Since I stated joining networks and became more involved with them, I have begun to make more friends and become more involved in the fandoms and make long lasting friendships.
Start customizing your blog - Start using custom themes, pages, and other resources to help make your blog more appealing. I have found that in doing so that the more clean, neat, and informative my blog is, the more people are willing to take a second look at it. I started taking advantage of using custom themes from excellent theme makers like @acuite, @enchantedthemes, @neonbikethemes, @theme-hunter etc. to find pages and themes that fit my blog. I have had a great deal of success with that and I continue to develop and improve my blog. It’s helped a lot!
Start talking to your followers or people who follow - I know that can be difficult at times but it can help. start doing blogrates, ask games, message your followers and talk to them. chances are they will talk to you and even give you tips and tricks oh how to improve your blog. It doesn’t hesitate to ask. There are a lot of excellent people on this site that I’ve gotten to know and have been a big help to my blog and to myself. It doesn’t hurt to get involved with your followers whether it’s those kinds of games or text posts. You can get to know a lot about a person by doing those kinds of things.
Lastly but not least, do what you want to do to help improve your blog. Start with these simple things and I’m positive they will help boost your blog and help you gain more followers, friendships, and more positive experiences on this website. I will probably do another post like this but this is something simple. Also, if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask or befriend me. I may not reply right away but I always answer back. I do have social anxiety so it does take me away to get back to people. Start with these tips and you will see an improvement and positive experience with your blog and what you want to do with it.
hey everyone! since my first post on blog tips was popular I thought I’d make another one to help out! There are a lot of things you can do to help your blog and boost it to not only gain followers but life long friendships as well! Before, I start these are just suggestions if you’re looking for ways to help your blog.

keep it simple when it comes to themes and pages. What I mean by this is trying using a custom theme that you can find on theme hunter, acuite, enchanted themes, neon bike themes, odyesseus themes etc. The simple yet clean themes can help boost your blog. You can always change the colors on the theme to customize it towards your liking because after all it is your blog.
A few other suggestions would be to customize your mobile theme and use a background that’s not hard to scroll through or look at. Sometimes, a background too bright or distracting will loose the appeal and this is just a suggestion because it is your blog after all. Or you don’t need to have a header. It’s completely up to you after all it is your blog. For your mobile header, you can find many simple yet effective headers that fit your blog.
Taking advantage of pages like update tabs, about, navigation, blogroll etc., because they can be very effective. Using aesthetic icons also help but you can use whatever icons you would want because it is your blog. It is just a suggestion to take advantage of aesthetic icons but you can use them on your pages. You can find many theme makers that have links to aesthetic icons, just be sure to follow the rules that they state. They take extra time to make icons, update, and different kinds of pages to help your blog. Having a navigation, about, update and blogroll page can help your blog a lot. While coding can be difficult, you can find help from theme makers and others who take advantage of using these pages. I use all of them and they make my blog pop and I like using them.
As I stated in the first one, get to know your followers. Take advantage of participating in ask games, blogrates, and other things. Talk to your followers, it doesn’t hurt and you may even gain a friendship by sending an ask or message. I have gained many friendships from these simple things and you also get to know followers on a first name basis. Get involved in networks that appeal to you.
Like I said, all of these are just suggestions because it is your blog and each and everyone’s blog is unique in their own ways. I hope this helped. <3
