An unhinged ramble on creature commandos:

-First off I LOVE the animation style. Glad to see they’re not holding back on the gore too (it’s giving Helluva Boss vibes and I’m here for it).

-The monster fucker community is going to go wild with this show. Mr Gunn knew exactly what he was doing.

-Like, look at this baddie. This is every bisexual goth girl’s dream wife. I want to cosplay her so badly.

-I love Nina already. I have a feeling she’s going to be one of my favourite characters.

-I wasn’t expecting her and G I Robot to have a relationship but they’re cute together. Whether it’s romantic or platonic, I’m fully on board.

-I’ve never been into robots…but HEAR ME OUT. This guy likes cats, hates nazis and is voiced by Sean Gunn. What’s not to love?

-We’re getting Weasel’s backstory! I don’t know what’s going on here but it can’t be good.

-Crying at how they have Weasel strapped to the seat here LMAO what did my boy do to deserve that?

-The funko gods have finally blessed us with a Weasel pop figure. I need ten of them.

-It was confirmed at the NYCC panel that Michael Rooker is playing a side character in the series. Mentally preparing myself to see him be killed off in an extremely gruesome way (again).

Hey guys! Mod Padfoot here! Neither of us have ever made a mod post, nor have we ever given our personal blogs out or anything. We honestly never expected this blog to get so huge. All of our posts have been in jokes between two friends who call ourselves Prongs and Padfoot, we did not think for a second we were entertaining anyone except ourselves. But there are nearly 2,500 of you! So I thought it was time we spoke to you directly. For two reasons: 1) as I said, the sheer number of you, and how enthusiastic you’ve been about what we’re doing; 2) because I’m honestly a little tipsy and bored, and someone tagged us in a challenge!

But yeah, basically thank you so much for your reaction to this blog, it’s been unbelievable. Prongs and I have been finishing essays, so we haven’t had a lot of time for posting, but we’re both finished now, so more posts are in the offing. But we do regularly check follow count/post notes and we’re stunned every time. Prong actually had someone she knows IRL show her one of our posts, which is insane! All I say say, basically, is thank you. Also, a couple of you already have, but if anyone ever wants to chat, feel free to message or dm us!

the grand reopening

hey! so a few things before this account gets back on track: we’re really sorry for the extended period of inactivity! long story short, a bunch of things happened to the admins - falling out of the eleceed loop, starting school, getting to work, etc etc. nowadays we’ve managed to visit this account again though, so updates might go back to normal. thanks for sticking around!

The company that did the practical effects for The Suicide Squad (Legacy Effects) posted some behind the scenes images of their work on Instagram and look! I had no idea there was a Weasel puppet used as well as CGI.

(I really hope we get more information on this, I’d love to see a full view of it and how it moves/works)
