TMR headcanon 😋 (my shaylas…)
Imagine the first time the Gladers got into a car.
Once they get over the shock of whatever they’re running from, they’d be all smiley because “wow, this is what a car feels like??”
They’d be sticking their heads out the windows like dogs, laughing, occasionally yelling profanities because the person in front of them spit and it landed on the unfortunate soul behind them.
The person in shotgun would be trying to push all the buttons, while the driver (probably Jorge) continuously bats their hands away.
And then… one of them catches a glance of themselves in the mirror. There were no mirrors in the Glade. They didn’t know what they looked like. So once the first person (after staring at and admiring themselves for like 5 minutes straight) announced it, suddenly everyone’s pushing and shoving at the chance to see what they look like. Jorge eventually yells for them to shut up and calm down, making people take turns.
Tears would be shed.
Jokes would be made.
“Wow, I am one ugly shank.”
“I tried to tell you!”
“Speak for yourselves. I’m beautiful.”
“Oh, slim it, Minho!!”
“Oi! Quit yellin’ before Jorge yells at us again! Don’t make me use my puppy-dog eyes, cause I know I bloody have them now!”
“Told ya you were never intimidating, Newt.”
get a bf that rents you one direction movie at 11pm and watches it with you
