“He had looked at the child with one of his awful faces,” from Strange Stories by Grant Allen, 1884.
I am sure that couples that choose to have children never think it could possibly end in a five year battle over who has the most money and therefore deserves the kids. But that is what all you breeders eventually end up crying about on facebook. I saw that at age 16, so I wrapped it. And I saw that at age 20 so a doctor clipped it. You are now age 40+ with 2+, and are just finding this out. And if this doesn't convince you; let's talk about overpopulation, limited resources and sustainably.
With the holidays creeping in, I'm seeing a lot of new co-workers. And since the population of my workplace is 99.95% female, I'm getting a lot of this:
New Coworker: (tells me about her kids) Do you have kids?
Me: Nope.
NC: Married?
Me: Nope.
NC: Boyfriend?
Me: (shakes head)
Me: ... I have cats...
Should I just wear a pin or something that says "Crazy Cat Lady" and cut this process short for everyone?
