My bestie came over so we could geek out over Genshin together...and we also did a cosplay again! Last time it was Yui and Kou, but now it was casual style Ganyu and Yae Miko. :3
I don't cosplay often but I always have a lot of fun whenever I do. Only downside is that I have to blind during it because I wear glasses and without them I can barely see. xD ( and lenses aren't for me. :'') )

So I’m not super big on Easter (asides from the chocolate because I’m Belgian and the chocolate here is top tier) but one thing I absolutely love are these traditional Easter buns which are sold at supermarkets and bakeries over here in March-April. They have a slight cinnamon flavor and I absolutely adore them. Especially the ones which are tiny and have the super crispy ears.
If you get them from the store, they’ll have a perfect rabbit shape but I get the artisanal ones from the local bakery which taste much better but the shape is often quite wonky. I can never tell what’s supposed to be the top or bottom, so I tend to cut them in half and just make two cute bunny heads by carving little eyes, whiskers and a mouth with a tooth pick, then filling up the eyes with a chocolate sprinkle. :3
If you guys have specific Easter traditions or Easter foods which you absolutely love, let me know because I’d love to know. I feel like I don’t interact with my followers as much as I should because I am genuinely curious about you all. uwu
After the disaster which was last week, things are going really well now. I think my students finally realized that their chaotic energy was affecting me and they’ve been trying their best to be a bit more composed. :p
Today I had to announce some tests and homework and I noticed some of them looked overwhelmed so I tried to explain that they will need the language to function in society here. Then one of the students stood up and said ‘Come on guys. She does so much for us, so of course she’s gonna expect a lot in return too.’
This honestly really touched me. I’ve spent hours making countless of Quizlet (flashcard) sets with all of the vocabulary and even made my own recordings so they can practice listening to a real native speaker and not a generated robot lady voice. So while I won’t deny that I set the bar high for my students, they also get provided with more than plenty of extra study material to practice.
Went to my first anime con in a couple of years today. :3 Had a lot of fun singing at the karaoke booth with my bestie (we sang Mr. Sadistic Night because we have no shame lol)
I also got to wear my Subaru ita bag finally!
It was pretty hot today so I didn’t wear my Yui wig/uniform to cosplay but my bestie went as Ruggie from Twisted Wonderland and totally rocked the look as you can see! I just had to ask for a picture together haha. God I always look so awkward on photos.
I met up with my bestie @keithvalentinex today for my very first cosplay ever. They arranged the outfit and wig for me, so huge thank you for that! It was so much fun to be Yui even though I was pretty much blind throughout the whole photo shoot. xD (I wear glasses and had to take them off, obviously)
I’m definitely no professional cosplayer but I had so much fun today, I’m looking forward to doing this again sometime. :3
I've been playing this game for a little over a year and I still haven't gotten Diluc 😭 I literally want to lose my 50/50 just to get himmmm
I mean, Diluc was probably the character I wanted the most if I had to lose the 50/50 but I would still rather have had Kokomi. :'')
Or maybe Mona because I want someone who can easily apply Hydro for my hyperBOOM team. (Yes, boom because Yanfei says 'boom~' when she attacks :p)
Right now I'm using Barbara who isn't bad but Kokomi is obviously superior, haha.
Kokomi would also be a perfect fit on my main team, 'Cute Girls Kicking Ass' or CGKA for short.
On the plus side, I do have my #MondstadtSquad team complete now...I haven't fully leveled up Diluc though. I'm waiting for my resin to reset so I can farm more materials. I also need to craft a better weapon for him.
