I need to tell him I love him.
It keeps playing in my head. When he talks to my cat the same way I do. When he’s brave enough to be vulnerable, when I know how much it’s cost him in the past. When we’re having another argument, because we triggered another one of each others’ wounds and need to figure out how to handle it next time. I love you I love you Iloveyou. It’s not too soon, is it? Time doesn’t seem to have any meaning when it comes to us. Even if I didn’t already believe it, whatever is left of the cynic in me can’t ignore the way the Universe is trying to bang our thick heads together to try and shake us out of this misery. Our souls know what to do, even if we don’t. Weaving together this story, mending frayed edges and patching holes with the tender care we both so desperately need.

still emotionally reeling tbh. i had a hard time sleeping the night after i finished the game. heavy topics. i havent picked the game back up because it would feel wrong to throw V back into NC when he worked so hard to leave.
