am about to rewatch Rooms

why does the pilot have to be so depressing?? there is literally NOTHING happy about it, it's just misery everywhere, from the image of the waterfalls and Parker's intro theme to the freaking "will you come?" scene

IDK, I'm feeling sad as it is and am about to make myself even sadder. But I'll watch out for interesting details and shots and stuff.
