          mmm i personally headcanon my jack as 18 ( sorry joyce ) but like here . think about it this way , it’s not your age that makes you you , it’s what you’ve gone through , your experiences , that makes you who you are . considering the facts that ( 1 ) jack’s been wiped of his memories , ( 2 ) he’s had no one to guide him in 300 years , ( 3 ) how he wasn’t able to develop his attitude properly even in his human years , pre guardian jack is grossly without much responsibility in his body . it’s why his conversations with the guardians about their centers are important : it all gave him insight of what he’s seen & gone through for the past 300 years .

Well, considering he stuck a boy’s tongue to frozen water as he was drinking from a fountain or that he made a man fall on his ass while carrying boxes, Jack gives zero fucks

          that’s the thing though : the lengths jack goes through just to be noticed is kinda dangerous . it’s not that he cares , it’s more of awareness . he’s aware of what he’s doing but he’s not aware of the repercussions his actions could cause . eg. , he’s aware that he kept jamie safe but he’s not aware of the rest of his environment .

You know what, I think I’m done. My friends in real life don’t care much about me. Ever since college it’s been this way. I thought the friends I made on tumblr could help fix that emptiness I felt. But it’s all just the same. All those ‘never be scared to talk to me’ words are just bullshit. ‘Yeah well I reached out and nothing. I don’t want to blame them obviously, not their fault, but just a single response couldn’t hurt. Right? Or maybe I’m just asking too much. Maybe, the problem is me...

          fun fact my guy : when i hopped in my new school last year as much as i loved my friends we weren’t rly on the same wavelength so i was kinda lonely for the most part esp because my close friends from my prev school aren’t going to the same school i go to ?? i thought i was gonna spend my two years in this school very quietly but come this year & i found wonderful friends who were able to keep up with me . point of this is , you’re just gonna hurt yourself if you reach out to people who don’t reach back . but that may be because you haven’t found the right crowd to hang out with . give it time . no one’s meant to be alone . try to give yourself the chance to meet new people . you never know who you could end up with you know ?? so don’t give up starlight . i’m here if you need to vent or just hang out , okay ? i’m rooting for you 💖
