How would the RO react if the MC got startled by something and their reaction was immediately to grab on to their hand?

Vitalius/Astasus: "Do not worry. I will protect you," he says, gripping your hand tighter.

Eratine: Will slap your hand away - startled by it himself but he'll stay with you. "Do not just grab someone without warning!"

Bernadine: She'll hold your hand and tuck you behind her. "What is wrong? Is it something I can help with?"

Brigid/Hesychia: She probably got startled by the same thing so when he grab her hand she brings it up and grips it between hers. "Why are you relying on me?" She teases despite her fear. "I may be royalty, but I am probably not most people's first choice."

Miki-Tane: Wordlessly grips you tighter and scopes out the area. "What is it? Did something hurt you? You can rely on me."

Diacinth: Screams, but won't leave. He's gripping your hand so tight it hurts, but he won't let you go as long as you need him.

Nonnatus: He'll inhale sharply and flinch back - when he notices it's just you he'll take a deep breath. "Sorry - you scared me. Is there something I can help with? I'll do my best."

Elia: When your hand glides through theirs they'll laugh. "What a funny thing to do - grabbing the hand of a ghost. Don't worry, though. I'll stick around - just for you."
