Character in general: I am going to paraphrase this because anyone who has been around for a while and reads my tags is aware that I have abnormally strong Persephone feels/opinions/theories. I say theories but I will physically fight anyone on this subject; lol forever at anyone who thinks that The Iron Queen is some passive naive inguene who didn’t know the laws of The Underworld. Please. Everyone is squabbling about the fate of “poor Persephone” and meanwhile she’s in the background trying on diadems and reupholstering Hades’ throne which is now pmuch her throne. Lady Spring runs the Underworld and if you don’t believe me ask Orpheus, he’ll write you a song about that shit. She gets to be Queen & Maiden, Life & Death, Spring Sunshine & Iron; do not feel sorry for Persephone friends, fear her she is the greatest tactician of them all.How they play them: DO YOU HEAR THE ANGELS SING? THEY SING THE SONG OF PERSEPHONE WITH AGENCY. BLESS. I was so happy so happy so happy I could have wept with joy. This IS Persephone in all the ways I want her; mild and sweet, but decisive and in love with the dark and the light, and damn ready to cut a bitch to get what she wants.
