Why I write. My username is #ResistanceWriter I write on several multimedia platforms about the subject of social resistance to the #abuseofpower and speaking truth to power. In certain societies, they persecute activists; imprison and torture them and, in extreme cases, murder them. What motivates people to commit acts of resistance? They must know the structures of power will want to set an example, to serve as a deterrent to others with the same idea. They place themselves in the front line of #non-violent act of resistance and will risk their own safety for a principle, (#freedomofspeech for example) so that individuals, groups and society may benefit. Their courage demands documentation and dissemination, transforming acts of resistance into social awareness. Interested in more of my work?
