Abe, Bart, Flanders, Milhouse, Nelson, Sideshow Mel, Lenny and Carl, and Moe come to mind as some faves, they make me laugh. (Skinner too but I already know you like him a ton)

Abe - Not as bad a character as everyone says he is. He has his good moments, and while a lot of his centric episodes are just okay or boring, when they’re good, they’re pretty damn good. The Flying Hellfish episode is such a gem that a lot of people overlook, and he played such a great supporting role in Barthood too. I can understand not liking him due to Homer’s upbringing, but let’s face it, there’s no unproblematic character in this show. Bart - I love Bart but he can be a coin toss sometimes. Some episodes he’s the cutest, lovable scoundrel ever to grace TV and other times he’s Satan’s cabana boy and the lil bastard that moms of the 90s feared most. But because of this, he’s actually one of the rare characters I feel didn’t get Flanderized as the series went on, and he still has a well rounded character in modern day that could compare to earlier seasons, imo Flanders - He’s....there. I don’t have strong opinions one way or the other on this one. No foot-longs. Milhouse - A lot like Bart in that he’s a coin toss, but he does have some great one-liners that my wife and I quote often (esp. Everything’s Coming Up Milhouse). I don’t like him with Lisa, I prefer her with Nelson, and that’s pretty much all I got on him. Nelson - A great, well rounded “bully” character that’s been pretty steady chaotic neutral throughout the series. Should end up with Lisa imo. Ha-ha. Sideshow Mel - Speaking of chaotic neutral, Mel’s probably one of the best examples of that personality. Boring on the Krusty Show, but really shines when he’s in Springfield and hanging out with the other characters. He does drag and goes to church so I stan him for that. Also one of the best exchanges in the whole show: “I haven’t been heard from!” “And what do you have to say?” “Nothing! Just pointing it out!”  Lenny and Carl - No strong opinions except they are married (although that’s not really an opinion but a fact) Moe - Fuck the haters, I love Moe. Early seasons his shady dealings as a barkeep was funny and his falling for the prank calls is iconic, but in modern episodes, he’s really shown he has a very soft, sweet, sensitive side when it comes to giving relationship advice to Homer or the other guys and he’s a great parental figure with Maggie. I think the writers play off his suicidal nature a bit too much for my liking to where it’s uncomfortable in some situations, and it would be nice to see him be explored more often as a caretaker. Those episodes are golden to me. Also Moe/Smithers is god tier. And one of these days I’ll write an Essay about Skinner, but I love procrastinating
