Perfect little Nora Dawson, at least that’s what her parents always thought of her. Her father had been the mayor of Charming and her mother was on every committee of town. They both left big foot prints for Nora to follow in. And she usually did, she was good at nearly everything she tried, prom queen, valedictorian, all around perfect girl next door. Growing up, she always did as she was supposed to until she met Thomas Harrington when she was 13 years old. As soon as they met, she was sure it was love. The two became inseparable. That was until they turned nineteen and he decided to join the military. The two tried to make it work despite the long distance but it was hard on them. He came home one leave to end it with her and take off again. What he didn’t know, he left her pregnant. His leaving pushed her into the arms for Marty Bates but that only lasted for the summer as he had to leave for military duty as well. Never telling anyone whose child it is, Nora now lives a few houses down from her parents with her daughter Charlie.
