We are obsessed with being strong.. to the point where we pat each other on the back for the amount of abuse and hardships we can take while severing our ties with our emotions..
You don’t have to be strong...
You don’t have to have all the answers...
You can be frail...
You can be sensitive...
You can be present in your emotions...
You don’t have to always be on...
You can be off...
I love that Korra is such a physically strong and head strong character. I love that there are so many female characters with their own personalities and agendas on legend of Korra. But I hate that Bolin is in an abusive relationship in season 2. She litterally threatens him with bodily harm when she suspects he'll leave her and she is both physically and emotionally abusive (not to mention how creepy it is that she insists on bringing her twin bother along all the time, indirectly making him a part of their relaionship). And it's played of for laughs! Eugh... problematic fave.
