4) Think bigger We are currently managing our stress by clinging to the latest news and updates. Any morsel or scrap of information is devoured like a roll a toilet paper on a store shelf. There’s plenty of contradiction, misinformation, and downright conspiracy theory. If you are reading this in the United States right now, don’t even try to hide the truth… a month ago you were thinking something along the lines of “At least it’s not in my back yard”. Even if your aren’t finger-pointing or playing the blame game about who ate an exotic bat soup meal or which government is manufacturing bioweapons, it’s important that you read the BIGGER picture here! How big is this picture? Well, it’s as big as what ‘pandemic’ defines which is GLOBAL. Globally we are all here, in this same world, waking up to the same havoc each day. The walls of race, color, creed, sex, religion, and age have been crushed. They don’t exist in the eyes of this virus, and they certainly can’t exist within us. Now is the perfect time to release any bigotry, ignorance, racism, naivety or blame, and to truly come together and embrace your global neighbors, of course withOUT physical embrace. We are talking about a meeting-of-the-minds here, worldly humans! A hands-across-Mother-Earth so long as they be gloved and sanitized, shows us that our ‘back yard’ is shared ground. All kidding aside about social distancing, we have a wondrous opportunity NOW to ask “How important is it?”. As we all face or own mortality and the possible demise of any humankind sharing this planet with us, now is the time for letting go of distorted beliefs and truly waking up to an enlightened state.
