Gearing up for July!! Half the year is gone and I have no idea where it went. About July there’s this challenge going around called #PlasticFreeJuly where as much as you can you try to abstain from using single use plastics or even going completely plastic free (which is kind of hard and I know is not economically viable for some people) for the whole 31 days. So carry reusable totes to the supermarket, in the supermarket refuse those plastic bags that they put produce in unless you really need it. Like for example for bananas or large fruits you can just have them stick the price tag on the fruit itself. Use reusable containers instead of plastic wrap to store food. Refuse straws because straws are the actual root of all evil. They have silicon and stainless steel straws that you can buy and carry around with you if you really NEED a straw for your drink. Just try to be a little more environmentally conscious this month guys and see if it changes your perspective so you’ll try and adopt some of these practices for your everyday life afterwards. #july #hellojuly #plasticfree #savetheocean #savetheworld #environmentallyfriendly #climatechange #nosolidwaste
