So, let's say five years from now, what do you think people will remember about SPN? And in ten years?
As fans or the general audience?
In 5 years the nostelgia is starting to set in and teenage fans will have become adults, and while they’ll still think roadtripping is glamous it will slowly dawn on them that Dean was kind of a jerk but that’s okay because he’s all about Sammy and Sammy loves him and Dean made their relationship hella more interesting.
The adult fans will still be foundly remembering the show about men, for men. A show that hardly any female-oriented fanservicng while having many attractive female characters.
In 10 years, complete nostelgia. Everybody: *sigh* Sam and Dean *starry eyes* Sam and Dean. *that meme of a completive kitten* Sam and Dean.
Films and tv shows that becomes memorable and timeless classics are because of chemistry between the leadst. Chemistry can save a mediocre movie with mediocre dialogues, just look at Titanic. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid wasn’t a bad movie by any means, but it was boosted to another level due to Paul Newman and Robert Redford’s on-screen chemistry. Without that chemistry the movie woud have dropped from a solid B+ to a C-.
