Im rewatching Criminal Minds and Im on the episode Rossi joins the show (S3E6). And the very first thing we find out about Rossi is he is not Gideon, the first scene we see of him is him shooting down a duck, the next important (in my mind at least) that we learn about him is he is just as respectful as Gideon, we see this when he comments “We didn’t have one of those back then,” about JJ to Hotchner who we can see on his face thinks this might take a sexist turn but Rossi further elaborates and says JJ’s job title, we see it again When he is introduced to Reid and calls him Doctor. You literally see Reid light up.
