Hokkaido update

I cant get off the island because there are no trains and no shinkansen running.

The ferry to the mainland is fully booked. Looks like I will spend another day here. The power is back. And so far the people at this hostel have been great. They gave us free food and drinks. And so far we have been getting drunk with the staff every night. Japanese are truly not too worried about this earthquake. I love it. They just go on living.

So again. I am safe. And I truly hope nothing else will happen.. *fingers crossed*
