i do wish more people had an actual backbone about social issues. my high school was sponsored by chick fil a and it was a whole thing, chick fil a catered events, and the business program worked directly with them. i know they stopped funding conversion therapy stuff and anti-lgbtq organizations, but who knows if that's true because its still the same ceo. either way, i would tell people i dont support it because of that and omfg others would get SO OFFENDED, and say shit like "but it's sooooo good!" i don't expect people to be perfect and i dont think ur a horrible person if u eat chick fil a or whatever, but it always gives me the ick when i bring it up and people respond with bs like that. like i'd accept, "yeah, i totally understand" or something along those lines, but idk me talking about how i don't like a company because of past support of conversion therapy and someone responding "um but its yummy" i check out
