So I totally forgot to post this here, but I finished building my new computer! I haven’t been doing any development in the past few days since I haven’t installed all my dev tools, and have instead been playing DOOM and Overwatch.

Got the rest of my parts in! I have to replace the CPU cooler because of a broken mounting pin, but I’ll be finishing building this tomorrow (got the case fans installed today, which took surprisingly long due to screw mix-ups and the fans not being threaded already)
Sorry for the lack of posts, I’ve been super busy. However, I did manage to pick up some sweet deals on the starting components for my first PC build!
And I also got Gears of War 4 with the graphics card for free, so I’ll be trying that out probably.
I added Carpe to GitHub (importing it from Bitbucket) and my contributions jumped up by 1,300. Apparently I did more work on Carpe in the past year than everything else combined (at least by commit count).

I just realized I hadn’t really posted about it much on tumblr, so if you’re a Chicago developer and want to get more involved in the community, this is a good place to start.

I’m almost done with my personal website, just have to move it over to Jekyll so I can do articles and simpler layouts, and it’ll be a done deal. Once the site is done, I’ll be updating this tumblr with links to it, a proper bio, and all that other fun stuff.
