1). Favorite myth/legend/fairytale?: I'll answer these separately since I think there's pretty big distinctions between the three. My favorite myth would probably be the common Anishinaabe/Ojibwa/Abenaki myth of Gluskabe, the First Man. My favorite legend would be that of Faust, the German magician/alchemist who made a deal with Mephisto in return for knowledge and power (I really like Goethe's version, which subverts the classical Christian ideology and portrays Mephisto as a sympathetic character). And my favorite fairytale is Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. I consider it to be a modern-day fairytale! XD
2). Do you have siblings?: Yeah, one little brother. He's seven years younger than me.
3). Your best subject in school?: I'm good at sciences, especially human/biologic sciences like organic chemistry, anatomy and physiology, and bioethics.
4). Do you want to get married? Yup!
5). What do you think of war?: "I have come to this house of worship tonight because my conscience leaves me no other choice...A true revolution of values will lay hand on the world order and say, 'This way of settling differences is not just. This business of burning human beings with napalms, of filling our nation's home with orphans and widows, of injecting poisonous drugs of hate into the veins of peoples normally humane, of sending men home from dark and bloodied battlefields physically handicapped and psychologically deranged, cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love." - Martin Luther King, Jr., April 4, 1967 at Riverside Church in NYC
6). Five things you hate/dislike?: Ignorance, irascibility, indifference, greed, failure.
7). Are you a morning person?: Haha noooo! But I'm gonna have to be soon, once university starts up again!
8). The last five books you've read?: V for Vendetta (currently reading), Batman: The Untold Legend, George R. R. Martin's A Clash of Kings, Rurouni Kenshin, Melanie Rawn's Skybowl
9). Do you like your country?: Hm. I like most of my country's civil liberties (though I could do without the Second Amendment...), but as a whole, I'm a bit unsure about America. We do some decent stuff now and then but man, we do a lot of things ass-backward, too, and there are a lot of people with many ideals that stand in stark contrast to mine. I like my state, Vermont, though. We're pretty liberal and really environmentally conscious, so that works for me.
10). Who is your rolemodel, if you have one?: Don't have one!
11). Do you like your friends?: Sure. If I didn't, I'd go get new ones!
My questions:
1). If you could have any six Pokemon on your team, which ones would you pick?
2). Can you name three albums you love so much that you like to listen to them straight through, skipping no songs?
3). Tell me about a person - beside your parents/guardians - that had a huge impact on your life.
4). If you could choose any form of 'afterlife' to go to when you die, which would you pick?
5). Favorite myth/legend/fairytale?
6). Which one of the Seven Deadly Sins best describes you, and why?
7). Which one of the Seven Virtues, and why?
8). Have you ever had any paranormal experiences?
9). Do you have a favorite visual artist?
10). What did you want to be when you were little, and what do you want to be now?
11). Five favorite songs?
