Please identify this not-so-hammer and sickle symbol on the tank. (Details in comments)
from /r/vexillology Top comment: Not exactly a flag but can't think of a better sub so please hear me out. This is a Mark V tank at the Kubinka Tank Museum in Russia. It was lended by the British to the White Army during the Russian Civil War and subsequently captured by the Red Army. They put this symbol on the side of the tank. It's not quite the standard hammer and sickle. Was this the emblem of the Red Army or an army division? Any help appreciated thx
