Master Post for Information
-> The™ Spreadsheet™ <- General Guidelines
Do not reveal the identity of the song in an active poll outside of a cipher, such as ROT13. The fun of the game comes from the knowledge test; spoiling the song spoils the fun.
This Blog will post five polls a day, starting at 3pm EST, and will also post five reveals a day, starting at 5pm EST (save for extenuating circumstances, which will be announced).
Submission Fundamentals
Submissions MUST include both the name and origin of the song.
You may submit up to Three (3) Songs in the Askbox if you’d like, so long as they are not from the same series and they are not repeats of a song already posted/in the queue. This is per-person, not per-ask. And please do not try to cheat this.
ADDITIONALLY, you can make new submissions after your songs have been posted and/or revealed. You don't have to wait for all of them to be posted to the blog, but maybe wait for 2 or more just to avoid having to make multiple asks and clogging the inbox up.
PLEASE include a link to the song with your submission! This is to side-step any possible remake/remaster/Distant World/Siivagunner chicanery. If you can include the composer too, that's even better.
General Submission Guidelines
Songs must be created for the game itself. No licensed music.
Music created for the purpose of advertisement but not included with the game itself will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Generally speaking, if it is included on the game's official soundtrack or release, it is fine.
Covers/remixes/mashups of existing songs made for a video game are generally accepted.
Songs must have an official release of some kind to be included, whether that be within the game files or an official soundtrack. They must be released to the public with the creative team's consent. Leaks will NOT be accepted.
Songs must be a minimum of 40-seconds long.
