Feeling The Urge (tm) to pick back up on the canon warriors rewite I started years ago. Where the cats are not only genetically accurate, but decended from Big Cats
The first part of it would have Bluestar, Tallstar, Yellowfang, and Crookedstar as the main cast (as their super editions take place at nearly the same time in canon) 🤔
Not my usual content but I thought this was odd enough that it needs to be yapped about lol
I keep seeing this youtube ad from a chiropractic place seemingly claiming that chiropractic adjustments on children can cure anxiety / depression/ autism / ADHD and more. They also had a sorta claim that these conditions can't be genetic because they're on the rise (most of the ad is statistics about how these conditions are on the rise).
And its like.. what is happening to society these days. Why do we make all this stuff up about mental health instead of you know making mental health services more accessible and helping parents so kids don't grow up with tauma. Like, yeah, good spine health will make you feel a bit better, but uh, I don't think it's gonna make the depression that runs in my family go away lmao
Idk I just thought it was amusing but also a little irritating haha
When I said it was high fantasy this is what I meant. This project is really just an excuse to indulge into my mythology hyper fixation. Like woah I can mix two of my biggest fixations together?
I'm currently just collecting a list of creatures I want to use, I will make detailed profiles for each later on.
A note: Any creature featured will be my own interpretation of them. I am looking into the legends associated to form their temperaments, but I will add and change things to better fit the world :)
A coho salmon with some central mudminnow in ghe background (both naitive to Wisconsin where I live)
This is mad entirely with Crayola crayons! saw this video the other day of someone using them to make art, and it seemed fun and definitely budget friendly.
It was fun to slowly build the colors on the salmon and work around the thinkness of the crayons.
Having conflicts with how I want to do the Ranks in Windclan. I do love their unique tunneler rank, but I feel the divide in the book is so forced. In my opinion, tunneling would be a skill that all WC cats should have. It shouldn't be its own rank, but a part of being a warrior.
But I do still want WC to have a unique rank, so the current idea is to replace it with Shepherds!
It would originate with WC seeing humans on the local farms taking care of rabbits. This gives them the idea to capture hares and breed them to be more docile and larger (the clans in this setting are hundreds of years old, so this is possible). There are even unique traits starting to arise in the livestock population, such as longer coats and different colors.
I feel this role has its own dangers like tunneling. The hares are larger and more powerful. A kick from a normal hare has been shown to cripple a cat (longtail). These hares kicks would pack twice the punch if a cat handles them incorrectly.
This would also give Shadowclan and even Thunderclan more reason to randomly start conflict with Windclan. The other clans want access to the livestock
I got an unexpected email a few days ago. My long-forgotten DeviantArt account, which I'd made in 2014, has turned 11 years old. It sent me down a rabbit hole of digging up my old art, a lot of which I'd forgotten. So allow me to take you on a tour of my journey.

and we end off on the art you all know, in 2025
This is a message to NEVER stop drawing. Never stop practicing. Never stop dreaming.
If I told my 11 year old self that one day she'd be posting a successful comic, with hundreds of people who love her art behind her, I don't think she'd believe me. Every time drawing gets hard, I think of her and how proud she'd be. I think of my even younger self who picked up a pencil to create for the very first time. You did it, little me.
