Going to fail History today

But I am okay with that. What I'm not okay with is the judgemental stares from the girls that you know you don't like. Funnily enough in other schools if you get high grades that makes you the nerd, the loser. In my school if you get high grades it just confirms that you're the popular kids. Weird. Parents must like that system though. Nobody dumbing themselves down to join a group. In these awkward social situations when you don't have the grades to fit in or you're not going to the same place for university as some of the other kids, you can tell they talk about you. They put you in a box at the back of their minds as the kid that they don't have to worry about beating in some test- because you've already lost. What they seem to forget, or choose to ignore, is that though these exams may seem like everything now. They are nothing. The only ones that mean something are the real ones in May. God help you if you fail those. But for the meantime- mocks are just mocks.
