Malgré qu'il était seulement un édifice consacré à Dieu, il me fais pensé aujourd'hui que le Saint-Esprit habite en nous et aussi que nous n'avons plus besoin d'un sanctuaire ou une synagogue pour chercher et connaître le Seigneur. Bien que je suis désespérée pour l'histoire et la culture qui sont perdues aujourd'hui, je me souviens que les madiers de cette cathédrale de 800+ ans qui se consument dans des cendres à Paris sont seulement un symbole suggérant les madiers que Christ a transporté et sur lesquels il est mort il y a 2000 ans, les madiers essentiels dont nous se souviendrons ce Vendredi. Selon moi, la tragédie aujourd'hui à Notre-Dame de Paris est un rappel que "[Il n'est] pas venu appeler à la répétance des justes, mais des pécheurs" (Luc 5:32). En vérité, nous sommes tous la Cathèdrale Notre-Dame de Paris. Nous sommes tous cassés, consumés de l'intérieur, ayant soif de l'eau vivante. #mondieu #notredame #notredrame #pardonnezmonmauvaisfrancaisSVP #aussimesphotosducaméraNikonde2011 ~ Although it was only a place consecrated to God's worship, I am reminded today how important it is that the Holy Spirit dwells in and among us and that no longer do we need a sanctuary or synagogue to seek and know the Lord. Though I am heartbroken for the history and culture that has been lost today, I remember that the timbers of this 800+ year-old cathedral which are now smoldering in ashes in Paris are only a symbol pointing to the timbers Christ carried and on which he died 2000 years ago, those pivotal timbers which we will remember this Friday. To me, the tragedy today at Notre Dame is a reminder that "[He] came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (Lk. 5:32) In truth, we are all Notre Dame Cathedral.
