I saw one of my roomates twice today (this morning and tonight) and both times she was going to the bathroom and I was washing my underwear in the sink so it looked like i’d just been there washing my underwear all day and we laughed about that a lot

A guy in the creative writing group like took issue with me in that he wasn’t trying to be mean i think but he sorta really hurt my feeling ?

he started by saying he liked my bag, which, thanks, i love it, but then added “there’s really nothing that says more ‘i’m alternative’” which made me smile because, i know, i know. And he added “ it really says ‘i’m on tumblr, there are people who just look like they’re on tumblr” and i was STILL smiling because I AM on tumblr, but, that’s not really a nice thing to say these days is it ??

But then later he like, called me over “blue hair! green hair!! sea colour hair, what’s your name again?” and when I said Max he just went “of course it is” and that ??? like he can’t know that’s big thing for me but still, who SAYS THAT ? Does it mean it’s obvious that’s not my actual name ? Are people just humoring me. What the fuck
