My favorite detail about you're writing is that I feel you are very truthful abo what the writers initially intended for Rumple. I like that you keep true to the fact that he initially took the Dark One's powers on for Baelfire. I also like that we see the human side of Rumple but he admits and knows he's done wrong but that he had the best of intentions ( now I feel even though the song best of intentions was meant for a couple that it could be for Baelfire and Rumple. oh I'm drowning in feels

Doc extended his hand to Amelia with a smile and a wink. “Garden, hm? That sounds like a lovely idea. C’mon Bug. You and me today. Or until someone gets us for lunch.” He never felt much like whistling but today was an exception. It wasn’t much like the old working song that still horrified him from long ago, but it was something much happier and simple. He hadn’t been outside much so when asked to keep an eye on Amelia, he was hoping she’d either distract him from work or head outside. Both was a pleasant surprise. “I hear you can find an adventure in the garden. But I’m just a healer. I’m not sure where to find these adventure-things. They tend to come find me.” It wasn’t all entirely a lie. Doc found himself dragged into circumstances more often than not. Though he was curious... Amelia had many people in her family to look up to. Proud people who had fought hard. Hopefully Amelia wouldn’t have to fight for anything.

Christmas time was always the time when Snow would bake in the apartment, this was something that she loved about Storybrooke, that had holidays liked Christmas that seemed to be the perfect time to bake treats like cookies and stuff, not to mention it was nice because the oven would warm up the apartment nicely.

This year her little granddaughter Amelia was old enough to help her in the kitchen with the baking, she was so excited, she wished that she had this moment with her own mother when she was Amelia’s age and even this with Emma but she could make these memories with her granddaughter. She had the oven preheated and the all the ingredients and recipes ready now it was time to get Amelia involved, “Amelia, sweetie, are you ready to help grandma make cookies for everyone?” She asked her granddaughter excitedly as she called out to her with an excited smile on her face.

Milah groaned at the sight of the girl in trouble. On the one hand, rich. Eck. Nothing good ever came from that echelon. She was probably the daughter of some stuffy noble. On the other hand, she was still just a girl. Though she looked around eighteen, that was still too young for her to really know any better. With a sigh she pulled out a dagger and threw it, handle and blade flying end over end until it stuck in the wooden dock between them. “Back off, boys. The girl’s ours.”

They looked up at her and there was a moment of hesitation before the smartest of the lot pointed out she was that Captain Hook’s wench. After another few seconds of some stubborn debate the gaggle of men left. Milah casually strolled up to the dagger and pulled out out of the ground. She inspected the tip to make sure there was no damage before turning to look at the girl she had just rescued with a sigh. “And what are we going to do with you?”

If there was one thing David had always wanted, it was to be a parent. And now here he was, with a daughter and two grandchildren. This wasn’t how he’d planned it. He’d wanted to be able to watch them grow. But now that he could be with them, he didn’t want to waste any more time.

“Hey, Amelia. What are you up to today? Got time to spend with your Grandpa?” Maybe she’d want to learn swordplay from him. Maybe she’d just want to grab lunch at the diner. But anything would be wonderful since he’d missed most of her childhood.
