hazy daisy has an enchanting room and a tiny farm! we’re big boys now
finally built a house that isn’t just a hobbit hole ♥
here to announce that I've got beef with the new Minecraft terrain generation (idk if it's actually new, it probably is just because of caves and cliffs, but like it's so bad).
why does it take so long to find terrain that you can actually easily build on? I started a brand new world yesterday for my bf and I, and I spent an hour trying to find a good place to build a house. why? well, idk I think it would've been a lot easier if I didn't have to cross 4 different mountain ranges to find a plains biome.
this is a ruined nether portal maybe 20 or so blocks from spawn
and this is where I built my house
on my way to this flat spot I had time to collect nearly every type of overworld wood. even the cherry wood was on top of a stupidly tall mountain
and no, this is not a one-time thing. over the past week I've made like 5 different worlds, and all but one spawned me in an icy hellscape surrounded by either an ocean or more mountains and snow. so idk who thought it was a good idea for there to be so many large mountains and have so much of the world be covered in snow but I'd like to have a word with them.
I love playing Minecraft and watching my base grow. like first I need a house. now I need a farm for when I switch difficulties. but I don’t have pumpkins and melons so I have to make a separate area for them because I already finished my greenhouse and I used glass for the walls and I don’t have silk touch so that’d just be a waste of glass. well now I want cookies so I need cocoa, I can stick the jungle wood in the corners of the greenhouse and it’ll look really good. while I’m at biome specifics it’d be cool to have some cacti, so I’m gonna go get one. I may as well get sugar cane while I’m at it too. by the way, I don’t have a storage/smelting room so I better build a small house and put it all in there. also my dog needs an even smaller house.
idk why but Xbox 360 edition feels more like Minecraft to me than any other version. it gives off such a “classic” vibe it’s so charming. that’s not to say that the new stuff they keep adding is bad, but like I only really care for the lanterns, candles, and campfires. everything else is kinda mid.
i can't find my screenshot folder for Minecraft but holy shit i'm even more glad i joined Joy's MC server.
i was walking around to see what had changed since i logged off & i saw a house near the ocean...
and inside it was.....
