34. Inexperienced Kiss

How exactly was this supposed to work?

The young mermaid had expressed a desire to know what a “kiss” was. He supposed she wouldn’t exactly know the action if she lived a solitary existence. Clearing his throat - he thought to indulge her curiosity.

He kneels on the sand, careful of the fragile shells around him. Gently leaning forward he places a kiss upon her brow. A small taste of what humans shared with one another.

          “Hey little guy are you lost..? Come here it’s alright.”

The blacksmith was not exactly paying much attention to the world around her, eyes were locked upon a small whimpering puppy that was hiding under a small opening between two buildings. Reaching out a hand she called out again. “Please come out? I promise I will give you lots of food if you come out.”

“Oh it’s you! You should come over more often, did you bring anymore of those cupcake things? I was thinking about trying to make some myself one day.” 

The young forest guardian was pretty cheerful to see Miss Erika again in his home. He was always pretty eager to see her around, especially when she brought something sweet. Though lately he been wanting to try baking himself, even though he doesn’t know how to.

It was the beginning of a new year. In the city of Altamar, canals were slowly becoming frozen as snow gently blankets the city. By morning, the city was a white winter wonderland as kids were out making snow pokemon with their companions. Many people were enjoying the weather yet there was one that was hidden, watching over everyone.

An Eon pokemon, named Eon, watches the people enjoy their happy moments except for one individual. A female trainer by the looks of it who looked new to the city. Out of curiosity, he flies over her observing this trainer, wondering who she was.

               “ But you can’t have Christmas without cookies! We’ll make a ton and it’ll be amazing! Come on! ” Ferrah leaned on the counter, clearly too excited about the possibility to really notice she might be getting too close for comfort. “ I can’t bake very well-- more that I don’t know how. And if I don’t bring the cookies, then Flynn’s going to bake some and no one wants that! Come on! It’ll be lots of fun! ”
