Joshes Day Z kindness gets him killed.
Went for a quick church raid with josh in novy sobor, was going off without a hitch then as we are getting ready to leave suggest a quick barn search. Nip round the corner clearing out zombies as we go just to be safe as we both have silenced weapons.
As i head into the first building i hear josh say "survivor here coming close shoot or leave?" i turn round shouting "shoot!" as its a server i play on regularly and have so far received any form of mercy only once. As i turn i see the bandit standing over josh and hear the sound of a double barreled shotgun go off twice followed by the squib the mighty has been killed i was hoping i wouldn't see. I angrily fire off an entire clip into the bandit making sure he gets nothing from his kill. Unfortunately this now leaves me buddy-less and in need of a reload with a town full of zombies closing in on the two freshly made corpses.
Being as precise as my anger, at not being fast enough to save him, would allow me i clear off the small horde and take the handgun off the assailant before storing joshes sidearm in my bag, unable to fit his main weapon i take the ammo i have space for for myself and as much sidearm ammo for him as i can carry along with a tin of food, a can and morphine from his corpse.
I then proceed to crawl from the town taking no chances in case of another bandit i get to the log out point of the friend we'd been playing with as a three and logged out, now its time to talk josh back to us. Fucking bandits.
