But the prickly looking scientist seems a bit bored.

He doesn't move at your presence, doesn't even look at you. Some of you recognize this face, although it's absent of any character it once held.

hello xar are you ok?

He zips through the muddled map. It seems like several points that used to be accessible normally in game are now completely cut off. Progressing without cheats would be impossible, probably. At the very least, incredibly difficult.

He stops in front of one node, that keeps flickering on and off. But it's just a regular vortigaunt.

Are you uh... Xar?

The vort gives no response, just stares at him.

Yeah this command is buggy...

He leaves, heading towards another node far off in the distance. Bright blue.

So this is where "Bubby" is, I guess.

Man. Where do I even begin to fix this??

hopefully the guys in the chamber are ok maybe you can head that way to see if anyone is alive over there

That's the plan.

As he is climbing down the elevator shaft and back into the office complex, he comes across a nervous looking scientist. Maybe nervous is the wrong word- it's jittering as it walks, pacing the small hallway past the stairs.

You need some help there, sir?

You lead the way!

Oh- uh... alright then? I'm heading back towards the lab, you might wanna head for the surface, though.

He continues backtracking, but the scientists doesn't follow.
