Thought we kissed goodbye. Thought we meant this time was the last. But I guess it's never really over. Thought we drew the line right through you and I. Can't keep going back. I guess it's never really over, yeah. Two years and just like that. My head still takes me back. Thought it was done, but I guess it's never really over. Just because it's over doesn't mean it's really over. And if I think it over, maybe you'll be coming over again and I'll have to get over you all over again. And I'll have to get over you all over again. Just because it's over doesn't mean it's really over. And if I think it over, maybe you'll be coming over again and I'll have to get over you all over again. Over you all over again. Thought we kissed goodbye. Thought we meant this time was the last. But I guess it's never really over. Thought we drew the line right through you and I. Can't keep going back. I guess it's never really over.
Never Really Over by Katy Perry
why do people think Taylor wrote never really over? (forgive me if there’s already a post about it)
1. taylor and katy made up publicly sometime during the rep era. then nro came out in 2019.
2. nro says “rabbit hole” at 12 seconds in, which is the exact same time that wonderland says it
3. taylor added nro to her playlist by me in 2019 and made it the 13th track:
4. katy had this easter egg for the lover album/Daylight in the NRO music video:
let it go are lyrics from Daylight and they’re being illuminated, literally by daylight in the mv
5. the energy of the song of the song is very much the swiftgron narrative as described in Style (we never go out of style) and IKP (for me it’s always you) and 1989 in general, longing for someone, getting over them, longing for them again, “this love is alive back from the dead”
6. dianna runs in the same social circles as katy so taylor may have thought it appropriate for a mutual friend to take the song since she couldn’t (to me i feel like she was trying to protect the lover era happily ever after narrative which is why she would give the song away, the same way she had to say dbatc was fictional)
7. other than the CLEAR rabbit-hole lyric reference nro also includes phrases and themes taylor has used before “cross the line” and searching someone’s name on the internet
8. the two years referenced in the song could be referencing the length of time swiftgron lasted - it does match up.
9. not only did she have this song on her me playlist but she also eventually added a song about dianna written by mumford and sons on her me playlist could it be there were two songs about dianna on there?
BABE WAKE UP NEW NROL FURSONA DROPPED
Haven't had a huge amount of time to schedule things lately - here's a launch that just happened a few minutes ago. A launch of a Delta IV heavy, the second most powerful rocket currently in service (after the Falcon Heavy). Launch for the US National Reconnaissance Office, so the payload likely a spy satellite. Liftoff is just after 30:00 in this clip.
The outstanding career of Katy Perry!
It's a place where you go to heal your heart and let go of any remnants of energy from older relationships. A place of tranquility and synchronicity. A place to unite through our broken hearts. A place to learn that there is a push and a pull to healing and that while sometimes it can feel like those old relationships will never be over. Through the activities and surroundings you'll learn to heal and finally let it go... 🧡
