This is the sort of thing I wished I could see a lot more of, all of the Gym Leaders, or at least a majority of them, taking a more prominent role in the plot. Not necessarily as huge as possibly a rival would or as closely to the main character as Norman from R/S/E or OR/AS But more so like these guys where, when the shit hits the fan like it usually does w these stupid teams, they take a stance and help you, a gd child, fight back like they should! And I'm not letting the possibility of them not understanding or them being unaware of the threat be an excuse. Definitely not if they were just scared. Iris is v likely scared and is a child YOUNGER THAN MY CHARACTER!!! And she's here fighting! Anyway, I ramble...
