I’ve got honestly no idea. I used to use nshrine but you guys remember what happened to that. Which is a damn shame because it was a great site.

So I Just Found Out

That SOME BLOODY ASSHOLES decided to start fighting and squabbling and being general dickheads on that one website, nshrine, where you can set up your own little eshrines and things... FUCK. THEM. They got so bad about their petty fighting and quarreling that nshrine decided to just say ‘what the hell’ and TAKE THE FUCKING SITE DOWN. That eliminates I don’t know how many possibilities and outlets for closet witches and tech witches out there. Just... REALLY? STUPID FUCKING BLOODY PETTY CHILDREN. WHAT. EVEN.

UGH. I know I should probably be sleeping right now, but honestly, I just found this out. I was going to make a little shrine since I’m currently closeted and can’t have a tangible one set up. But now that those inconsiderate jerk-offs have screwed it all over for everyone, looks like that won’t be happening after all.

I could cry right now, I’m so mad. Fucking. Petty. Brats. A fucking nasty pox upon their warty arses, and I hope it itches like a bastard.

A very overtired rant.

i have been down in Florida, many things have kept me busy and drained. Family drama, weddings, graduations, chaos. And a 3 month old child, to name a few. Needless to say I haven't had much time or energy or resources to pour into my faith like usual, which is often a great release for me. So, when I get online during my rare quiet times and see nothing but immature middle school squabbling and bickering? I get a little pissed off. Why the hell can't everyone just stop policing others and do your own thing? Stop spreading hatred and discord every time you poke your nose where it wasn't requested. The hatred and immaturity of some already shut down one of my quiet places (NShrine). Don't turn this place into an uninhabitable waste dump as well. Just do you. And let others do themselves. And take your SJW bs elsewhere. Seriously people. Find a hobby that makes you happy and doesn't hurt others.

nshrine’s purpose was to serve as a virtual shrine to send prayers and good thoughts to lost loved ones, victims of tragic events, or to create a shrine for a god/dess that is part of long-established religion.

It was never designed for kids on Tumblr to create online monuments to their narcissism. So when you ask who ruined nshrine, look in a mirror and you’ll find your answer.

Why is that when people desecrate shrines and temples in real life it’s a sacrilege and everybody agrees the perpetrators should be convicted, but when a couple of people decide to destroy hundreds of virtual shrines when we most need it, nobody bats an eyelash??

like I can’t decide if this is ableism or speciesism or just pure assholeness from the staff but probably a combination of the three

they took down nshrine because it was supposed to be for the grieving of lost ones but people used it for their own selfish reasons and turned it into a place of mockery for those who really needed it.

i read their statement. they said that they didn’t want to “babysit” the people who used nshrine. 

there were better ways to handle it

they could have kicked off the spammers, or they could have taken down shrines that others reported as disrespectful. they could have made it impossible to type messages that contained certain keywords. 

instead they took it down, ruining things for everyone who used nshrine.
