NTLibraryCon is tomorrow!!!
Are you ready?
Next Monday at 3pm, join us at Manga Club to watch some underrated anime, and start planning our 2018 NTLibraryCon.
Free for teens 13-19, no registration required. Snacks will be served for the hungry.
Are you excited for the NTLibraryCon yet? If not, this'll change your mind. Casual Dragon Games will be back with their board game library, so you can try out dozens of games!
We can’t wait until August 5th to play.
NTLibraryCon Panel Preview: Preparing to Make Your Own Comic! Sister Greene of The Salazar Sisters will be showing you what tools you will need to start making your own comic and what they learned as they made their own comic (featured at Pulp 716). Blue line board will be provided while supplies last.
Are you ready for Saturday?! We are so jazzed for all the programs, the pokehunt, cosplay contest, gaming, and assorted nerdy going-ons! 10am-4pm. Be there or be sad you missed it.
This is what you use if you want to enter the NTLibraryCon costume contest, to be held at 3pm, July 13th at the North Tonawanda Public Library. You must be registered for the con (which is free) if you want to be in the costume contest. All contestants will be judged by our panel of judges. The Fan Favorite category is separate, and will be chosen by the contest audience during the contest. You don't need to enter that category to be eligible for it. All prizes are provided by The Friends of the North Tonawanda Public Library. You can be any person/thing from any fandom, so long as it adheres to the rules of the library/NTLibraryCon. All of your answers will help us judge your costume fairly, so please answer them!
Sign-ups for NTLibraryCon’s cosplay contest are now open!
You can sign up during the con on July 13th (10am-4pm) but you don’t really want to do paperwork when you could be attending a panel, do you? Sign up early and avoid all that! It takes maybe 2 minutes and you won’t have to worry later!
PS: The prizes are better than ever this year
Do you have a nerdy passion and want to share it with others? Have you always wanted to stage a dramatic reading of your favorite manga or swap fluffy fanfic? We want you as a panelist for NTLibraryCon 2019, the best free, fan-run library convention in North Tonawanda!
Apply to run a 1/2hour panel online or email Ms. Kelly at kmenzel @ nioga.org
PS: We also want panel ideas, even if you can’t run one.
Panel Preview: Sister Greene & The Basics of Art with Markers
Learn how to use markers to create amazing art from artist Sister Greene of The Sisters of Salazar! You'll learn which brands are best, other supplies you need, and more.
Excited about NTLibraryCon? Check out our finalized schedule for the day! We’ve got a wide variety of panels, great guests, and the best board and roleplaying game tables this side of the canal!
