“You called?” Catra stepped into the room, her hair was a bit more fluffed out than normal and sticking out more as well. She had been a bit stressed ever since she had to take over the more... less appealing parts of Shadow Weaver’s job. To say this was what she expected would be a lie as she thought being in charged was much more commanding and less sitting at a desk and doing paperwork. Catra was glad that Entrapta had called her in for, whatever reason, as it pulled her away from that other, much less appealing, job.

             “Weeeeell, I just thought maybe with your inventions and everything...perhaps you could think about incorporating some magic into them to make them better? And to pay you back for your help before, I’d be willing to be a test subject for you.” Was this a dangerous idea? Yes. Would this make Entrapta happy and probably keep her from exploding Bright Moon too many times? Probably.

After the day she had had- being rescued from Horde Prime and, having the chip removed and all, maybe she should lay down. Exhaustion weighed on her shoulders though she had already been asleep for a good while prior to the chip removal. Maybe it was a side effect of another mind leaving your own. She didn’t know, and she wasn’t about to ask.

She sighed and sat down, trying to bite back the urge to press her left hand against the wound on her neck, to touch it while it was raw was bound to be a bad idea but there still lurked in her mind a desire to make sure it was gone, confirm that he no longer had access to her mind and body.

Stars did it hurt.

Catra sighed again, ears flattening as she clutched at the mattress instead. “Yeah. Maybe you’re right.”
