Get to know my character meme

01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

Her full name is Dorothy “Mouse” Locke! Most of her name was either inspired by or directly taken from suggestions from people (credits). 

I liked some of the fancy, delicate feminine names I was getting suggested, because of how much it clashed with Mouse’s image, but I went with Dorothy because of the Wizard of Oz vibes. Also, one of the possible nicknames for Dorothy is Dotty, and that’s cute. 

Mouse, because she does kind of give that vibe. Small, slight, nimble, probably roots around in dumpsters. Also, two different people suggested it entirely independently of each other so I KNEW it was a name that fit. Also, she likes mice and thinks they’re badass. 

And Locke, because that’s a cool fuckin’ name. 

07. Is there a catchphrase or sound that they tend to make a lot (likely without being aware of it)?

“FUUUCK”
