I'm not going to play ch. 13. I have enough real stuff that I have lost in 2025, and I am not willing to lose 10 years of my dreaming about Xenoblade X.
I made that decision recently quite unspoiled. I've carefully looked at spoilers since then, and I may someday run a third Cross with 13, making a third AU. Maybe. The Roo/Lila Brown gas station OG WiiU Nulliverse, the Kadzyk DE Nulliverse, and maybe Monolith's own post game AU. Maybe.
In the real AUs that I get to mess around with, Lin will become president of the NLA PTA in 2085, and my life is all the better for it.
It shouldn't matter. It should not matter. A handful of hours of gameplay should not matter. But it does and I won't play 13. Maybe never.
