+Ibuki rekindling his relationship with an ex lover who's also a rugby player who's been having a tough time in life in general.
I JUST WANNA SAY PLEASE WATCH NUMBER24, it's a sports anime about rugby. I don't know shit about rugby-- heck I don't know shit about sports cause I'm a lazy ass but I really did enjoy this anime. Aside from it's comedic and sports aspects I find it so wholesome, mostly Natsusa's friendship with Ibuki and Sei. It's a cute one just like the characters so I do recommend that ya'll give it a try.
"You really do look like a creeper in here by yourself." Ibuki said, startling you.
"What are you doing here?" You asked, rolling your eyes at the blonde beauty as he fully entered the locker room.
"Let's get you taped up, and I'm leaving you no room to argue or deny." Ibuki said sternly, taking a seat behind you.
You were a little confused as to why he sat down behind you, but as you were about to ask Ibuki started lifting up your shirt from behind.
"Hey what the hell?!" You shrieked, trying to pull your shirt down but Ibuki's grip wouldn't let you.
"C'mon now, we need to tape up your back. Don't tell me you're getting shy with me? I've seen you all over, I've probably seen more of your body than you have." Ibuki stated, again leaving no room for arguments.
"Fuck you" Was all you can muster in a low grumble as you let Ibuki lift your shirt up to your shoulders.
"You already have babe" Ibuki retorted in a very humorous tone which earned him a slap on the head.
"Just shut up and put the tape on." You grumbled, head lowering from embarrassment.
Ibuki did as he was told and started taping your very much bruised back, making his touch as light as a feather.
I still can't process the fact that she's been playing rugby and competing in this condition. Her back is the literal definition of black and blue, bruised from her shoulders down to her lower back. And don't even get me started on her problems outside of rugby. How is she still standing tall? Ibuki thought to himself as he looked at your completely bruised back in great sadness.
Ibuki muttered silent "sorry's" whenever he'd accidentally touched a very sore area that made you wince.
"Are you sure you're going to be okay?" Ibuki asked with great concern as he finished up with taping.
"Of course. I have to." You answered curtly.
There was silence between you two for a while after that, not knowing what exactly to say next. Both filled with great emotions but lost as to where to start.
But you were the first one to muster up the courage to talk.
"Ibuki, I-I'm seriously very thankful. I know there's still things between us that need to be discussed and sorted but here you are still by my side, never leaving me. I was so wrong for thinking that you left me. I'm very sorry and thank you for everything." You said, trying your best not to let the tears fall.
You hadn't been able to cry for a long time, not being able to let the emotions free. You’ve just been bottling everything. But because of Ibuki you’re able to let loose and let the emotions be because of Ibuki.
He's still my safe haven. You thought.
"There's no need to thank me, Y/N. This is the least that I can do for every single thing you've done for me, and mostly for what I've done. Honestly, I don't know how you haven't bashed my face yet after what happened." Ibuki let out a sad chuckle. "You were there for me through all my ups and downs, mostly through my downfall after the accident, but my stupid-ass had the audacity to disappear when you needed me. Y/N, I'm sorry" Ibuki stood up and bowed all the way down to the floor before you.
You stuttered but cannot form actual words.
"Please don't tell me I don't need to apologize. Please let me apologize, you deserve an apology, Y/N. So please, accept my apology. I'm sorry" Ibuki leaned even lower, his face almost on the floor.
"I've forgiven you even before you asked for forgiveness, Ibuki." He looked up to you with wide eyes. When your eyes met, you weren’t able to hold back the tears anymore and it poured like there's no tomorrow. Ibuki hurriedly sat beside you and hugged you as gently as possible.
It's a new feeling for him, hugging you as if you'll break. Because he's so used to giving you such strong tight hugs since you’re a tough one.
Ibuki ran his hand gently on your back for comfort as well as to soothe the tensed muscles.
"Thank you. Thank you for forgiving me, Y/N. I promise I'll never leave you, you won't have to face such dark and hard times by yourself again. I feel so bad not being with you all these time that you're struggling. So I promise to make up for all the moment's that I wasn't around and neglected you. I'll be by your side from now on and I have no plans of leaving. Let me be your safe haven again?" Ibuki held your face in his large hands, looking directly at your eyes that's still tearing up.
You nodded, still can't form words.
Those words brought you back to such a familiar place, a place where you feel the most safe. A place you feel the most at home aside from the fields you play on.
After a few moments of crying, head buried in Ibuki's neck, with Ibuki whispering comforting words, you finally were able to calm down. Feeling much better, that it's almost overwhelming.
You haven’t felt this good for quite some time. No heavy feelings on the chest, that it even feels as if you can breathe better now.
"Game's about to start in a few, have you calmed down?" Ibuki asked, holding your face in his hands again, making you look at him.
"Yeah" You sniffled, which made Ibuki laugh.
"Damn, I didn't know you're such a cry baby now." Ibuki jokes, as he wipes some tears from your eyes, then pinches your cheek.
You rolled her eyes, slapping Ibuki's hand away. "Well bitch I wonder why"
Ibuki laughed even louder and said a little "sorry"
"I seriously hate your ass, look at me bawling my eyes out for you, with snot flowing out of my nose." You barked at Ibuki.
Tough girl, but still the cutest. Ibuki thought to himself, chuckling while he looked at your cute puffy eyes, while you tried to wipe the snot that’s still flowing out of your nose.
"You love my ass though, don't even lie" Ibuki retorted, helping you wipe the snot away.
You just gave him a disgusted look before finally standing up.
"I'd like to say take it easy out there but then again it's you and rugby we're talking about here, so I know that's impossible. But please, just take care okay? Be even more cautious, with your back like this--"
"Ibuki, you're not the only genius in the field you know." You gave him a smug look, which instantly brought a smile to his face.
"Fine" Ibuki rolled his eyes playfully. "Just take care for heaven's sake."
You nodded at him and you made your way out on the bleachers.
Before you could walk further Ibuki pulled you back.
"Let's have a deal!" Ibuki chirped.
"I'm listening, make it good"
"If you win this game I'll let you take me on a date. It must be a win with no injuries!"
You gave Ibuki a weird look but decided to play along and nodded for him to continue.
"And If you lose I'll take you on a date!" Ibuki chirped again.
Trust this stupid air head to make stupid deals. You thought.
"So you really just made a deal wherein all the outcomes are the same either way. You really have nothing but air in that blonde head of yours huh?"
"The same? No it's not"
"Really? Humor me then"
"I said if you win I'll let you take me and if you lose I'll take you"
"That's the same shit, Ibuki"
"Nope! Remember how you always fight me for the bills because you want to pay for them? Well you only get to pay if you win which is why I said I'll let you take me to a date. If you lose no matter how much you fight me your ass won't be paying shit!" Ibuki laughed, giving you a smug look while you gave him a dirty look.
"Yup. I really do hate you." You chuckled.
"I knew you love my ass, this time around you didn't say ‘I hate your ass’ anymore" Ibuki said proudly, as if he just said the smartest thing on earth. Which just earned him one last glare before you walked further down the bleachers.
When you reached Ibuki's teammates they immediately swarmed you with good luck wishes, some of them even trying to flirt through it, which earned them scolding from Natsu.
"I already know you're going to do great, so show them how it's done, Y/N!" Natsu cheered, as you ruffled his hair.
Before you can finally walk away Ibuki ruffled your hair. "Break a leg so you can take me out." Ibuki said, giving you a smug look.
You rolled your eyes before smirking at him. "I'm not even planning on losing. You know how I hate losing. So take your wallet, put it in a chest, lock that shit up, toss the key and toss the chest in the middle of the pacific ocean because you're not paying shit, air head." You sassed, which made Ibuki smile from ear to ear as he fist bumped the air.
Ibuki gave you one final "kill it" and a fist bump before letting you walk off to the field.
Ibuki watches you until you’re on the field before sitting down. He felt someone looking at him and surely there's someone looking at him-- well more like his whole team is looking at him. The fourth years but mostly the third years looking at him with bitterness as if he's just stolen something from them. While the juniors looked amazed at him. And there’s Natsu and Sei giving him the warmest look and smiles.
"Seems like you've worked things out." Natsu said with a proud smile. In which Ibuki just smiled.
"And yet again, just like that, he won the lady. Again." Ethan said exasperated, making the rest of the seniors grumble.
dating madoka hongou is going to be super fun because this man likes playfully teasing you and you wouldn't even have the guts to get mad at him lol.
but he does apologize to you if he ever offends you when teasing you, but hey, kudos to you if you're able to withstand his teasing :)
before actually dating madoka, you really didn't know much about him because let's just say you weren't interested in rugby or any sports in general but since your friends like seeing cute guys, you eventually met him.
you also met him through common friends like ikuto or natsusa.
madoka would probably find you cute and ask natsusa or ikuto for your number.
and then that's how you two had started going on dates near his university and eventually becoming a couple !!
he's a fun person in general, likes to tease people and you, of course. some people do get annoyed with him even his younger brother.

he's quite busy practicing and coaching the younger players of his team but he never misses your dates, he'd always show up earlier or on time :)
